1.1.2 INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS This product should only be installed by qualified staff and with the provided components. Plea- se check the installation manual in order to obtain more information on the electrical and water connections. Make sure you fulfil the following precautions regarding the hydraulic installation: • Always connect the In-Wash® to the domestic cold water mains. • Rain water or grey water is not suitable to operate this equipment. The In-Wash® shower toilet may only be operated with normal drinking water. • When installing the water filter, make sure it is tightened adequately and in its correct posi- tion. • The pressure of the water supply of this device should be within the range of 50 kPa to 900 kPa. • High Hazard backflow device to be used with the installation of this product. Make sure you fulfil the following precautions regarding the electrical installation: • Do not handle the socket with wet hands: To remove the plug from the power outlet, do not pull the cable, always pull the p lug. • Always unplug the power cable before handling the product. • Always use the specified supply voltage (240VAC, 50 Hz). The product should have an earth connection. It is necessary to install a circuit breaker, exclusively devoted to the In-Wash®. • Do not use a poor or defective electrical connection. • Place the socket correctly. It should be properl co nnected to the power outlet, firmly and y completely. • Remove the dust from the power outlet. • Do not bend or squeeze the connecting tube or the power cable; and keep the cable away from humid, hot or sharp surfaces. • Do not install the product in wheeled vehicles or boats. Ignoring these precautions may cause fire, electric shock, short-circuit or damages to the de- vice. To confirm that the installation is correct: • Check that the vitreous china piece is installed according to the provided installation manual. • Check that the shut-off valve is open. • Check that the power supply is connected to the In-Wash® . • Check that the remote control is connected to the In-Wash® . (Should this not be the case, please see section 2.2.1). When the In-Wash® is connected to the power supply, the lights blink and a long beep may be heard. The nozzle moves outwards and inwards. The lights switch off and the In-Wash® remains in a Stand-by mode, ready to be used. 5 English
